Office of Auditing and Performance Analysis:

The Office of Auditing and Performance Analysis (APA) is responsible for technical reviews in all industries, and may include financial, compliance, management, and operational analyses. The APA analysts conduct reviews of utility-related records and data, and they provide independent verification of utility filings and statements.

 

Description of Job Duties:

This position will conduct comprehensive reviews of data used to prepare utility filings and perform independent analyses of the utility documents supporting the filing. The comprehensive review requires the position to compile, analyze, and verify data and communicate the results in writing. This is technical, analytical work involving complex regulatory filings such as cost recovery clauses, staff-assisted rate cases, and other utility rate-setting proceedings.

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study preferably in accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, or business administration.

 

Special consideration will be given to applicants who are Certified Public Accountants (CPA’s), Certified Internal Auditors (CIA’s), and those applicants with the ability to review, analyze, and evaluate data and present their conclusions in writing.

Employment Eligibility:
