PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of the State of Florida’s procurement regulations including competitive procurement laws and rules.
- Experience utilizing MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) or other procurement software to issue Purchasing Orders.
Create and post competitive solicitations utilizing the Vendor Information Portal (VIP) for advertisement/posting.
Review requirements, specifications and descriptions outlined by the agency to ensure that all information pertaining to the contractor’s obligations, products, services, and performance period, is clear, adequate and in compliance with current laws and regulations.
Assist agency personnel with location sources of supply and procedures for obtaining competitive price quotations. Provides guidance and assistance to agency staff on procurement matters, the preparation of scopes of work, specifications, or other special requirements.
Analyze procurement requests, reviews specifications/scopes, provides instruction to agency staff, coordinate critical events, reviews and evaluates quotes/proposals and issues Purchase Orders and written agreements.
Verify encumbrances.
Provide contract maintenance. Prepare and manage supplements, amendments, time extensions, change orders, and renewal of contracts and maintains files in a well-organized fashion.
Enter and maintain required information in the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System (FACTS).
This position functions as the Purchasing Card (P-Card) Administrator for the EOG. Review, coordinate, and monitor purchasing activities of the Purchasing Card Program. Establish/maintain p-card user profiles, monitor transactions for fraud, timeliness. Trains p-card users and maintains files.
