MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional or nonprofessional experience in administrative work, regulatory work, consumer complaint program work, interviewing, business administration, customer or public relations or investigations.

 

Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

 

An equivalent combination of education and experience which equals six (6) years can substitute for the above requirements.

JOB DUTIES:

 

The primary duty and responsibility of this position is to provide quality assurance for the Call Center (Consumer Assistance Center). This position will monitor agents’ incoming telephone calls, live chat and email messages to ensure that accurate information is provided in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner and that agents adhere to established policies and procedures. Provide effective feedback to Call Center agents, Call Center supervisor, and section manager to assist with team efficiency and agent productivity.  Provide coaching, training and development to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.

 

Assist with training for all new hires and ongoing training for the Consumer Assistance Center agents.

Assist with preparing reports.

     Assist with maintaining and updating training manual.

     Assist with maintaining and updating policies and procedures.

Assist with preparing performance expectations.

Assist with handling escalated calls.

Serve as on duty supervisor when necessary.

Assist with answering telephone calls and live chats, and respond to emails when necessary.

Conduct or assist with conducting team meetings when necessary.

Provide training for other department/division staff upon request.

Assist with conducting initial interviews when needed.

 

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Employee may be asked to preform special duties in relation to the Departments Emergency Response obligations.
