JOB SUMMARY:
This is a Revenue Administrator III - SES position in the General Tax Administration Program's, Return Reconciliation Process, Taxpayer Account Management Section. The incumbent provides leadership and direction to staff and creates and maintains reports and presentations using a variety of software products. The incumbent meets operational objectives by assisting with the establishment and communication of program and process strategic initiatives, prioritizing and allocating workloads, managing vacancies, identifying and analyzing workflows, performing costs/benefits analyses, and implementing process improvements. The incumbent also manages by establishing expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and fostering open communication.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
- Three years of experience working within the Florida Department of Revenue.
- Two years of experience working within the Florida Department of Revenue General Tax Administration Program.
- Two years of experience reconciling taxpayer records within the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX) environment for the purpose of correcting master and financial data.
- Experience as a lead worker, trainer, or supervisor within the General Tax Administration Program.
PREFERENCES:
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience researching and resolving at least two of the following taxes: corporate, motor fuel, reemployment, or sales and use tax returns in the Return Reconciliation Process.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- The working hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $5,150.13 monthly/$61,801.56 annually.
