JOB SUMMARY:

This position in the Department of Revenue’s Child Support Program Compliance Process responsible for management of the Compliance Remedy Selection team; Case and Order Establishment Process responsible for the Establishment Process; and in Customer Service. If you enjoy working with teams, data, and problem-solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:

  • Assisting team members and management with identifying areas in need of improvement, identifying root causes of performance issues, developing performance improvement plans and implementing those plans.
  • Leading the development of operational plans in support of the Program’s strategic initiatives, strategic projects, and process projects.
  • Initiating, developing, and implementing projects with the potential for program wide impact.
  • Coordinating projects with operational processes, support processes, region team members and external partners.
  • Developing and implementing procedures, work instructions and training for operations.
  • Reviewing and analyzing activities to ensure operational actions are performed correctly and operational procedures are effective.
  • Performing workflow analyses to identify and implement changes leading to improved business process efficiency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue. 
  • Two years of experience communicating verbally and in writing with internal and external partners. 
  • Two years of experience facilitating meetings and/or work groups.  
  • Minimum two years’ experience leading teams and coordinating projects with deadlines.*
  • Minimum two years’ experience making recommendations for process improvements.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • *A degree or education in project management or organizational leadership may substitute on a year for year basis for the required experience.

PREFERENCES:

  • Five years of experience working in the Child Support Program.
  • Minimum two years’ experience analyzing performance measures, process functions, and operational plans. 
  • Minimum two years’ experience monitoring data and workflows
  • Minimum two years’ experience providing guidance and direction on procedures
  • Minimum two years’ experience teaching, instructing or coaching others.

SALARY: $65,270.28 - $134.665.56
