What You’ll Do:

 

-Initiation of Administrative Proceedings: Independently review case files, develop legal opinions, and prepare probable cause recommendations, including administrative complaints and closing orders.

-Board Presentations: Present cases before healthcare licensure boards across the State of Florida for final disciplinary action.

-Litigation: Represent the Department before the Division of Administrative Hearings, managing all aspects of litigation from trial preparation to post-hearing pleadings.

-Case Management: Oversee an inventory of cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution in compliance with statutory requirements.

-Collaboration: Respond to public records requests, inquiries from counsel, Respondents, members of the public and other agencies regarding ongoing cases.

-Free Continuing Legal Education: Opportunity for up to 24 hours yearly of free CLE credit regarding all aspects of administrative litigation and general practice.

-Remote Investigative Field Office Locations: Pensacola, Alachua, Jacksonville, and Orlando
