Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States. 

 

Position Summary: This Senior Clerk position is in the Office of the Attorney General within the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in Tallahassee, Florida.

 

Pay: $34,760.18 Annually

 

Qualifications: 

Two (2) years of secretarial or clerical experience; or
A High School diploma or its equivalent.

 

The Work You Will Do: The responsibilities of this position are included, but are not limited to the following: 

•    Under general supervision, the Records Senior Clerk operates scanning and other reproduction equipment to duplicate, storage, and retrieval of records.
•    The Records Senior Clerk is responsible for performing clerical tasks that involve consistently entering high volumes of data into a computer system.
•    Prepares agency files, including case related files for imaging into OnBase, the agency’s document management system.
•    Ensures files are imaged into OnBase accurately through detailed quality controlling duties.  Ensures proper documentation and integrity of scanned images.  
•    Responsible for ensuring they complete the appropriate task of scanning or quality controlling of the box they are assigned.
•    Responsible for assisting in the disposal of records that have reached their retention period as per the directives of Florida Statutes, policies and the State Records Center.
•    Responsible for ensuring the proper indexing of files as assigned.
•    Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
•    Performs other related duties as assigned.
