SPECIAL NOTES:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
Additional requirements:
- One (1) years of secretarial or clerical work experience.
- One (1) years of experience in customer service and answering multi-line phones.
- One (1) year experience working in computer software programs in a Windows operating environment.

This position will be filled at the annual base of $33,760.00.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Examines and review applications to ensure forms are complete, accurate and forms are properly notarized.
- Reviews applications for accuracy and completeness to determine if the license, permit, certificate, or registration may be issued.
- Verifies eligibility of applicants based upon established statutory requirements.
- Verifies fee payments, answers multi-line telephone, maintains daily visitation log. Maintains prescribed records and updates records related to the communication with customers.
- Is responsible to prepare routine settlement stipulation documents, provides prepared files to the Program Manager for further action, maintaining a continuous control of the status of files.
- Prioritizes work assignments, organizes, and maintain filing system related to licensing of five industries, performs related work as required.
- Operates standard office equipment in performance of duties, photocopying machines, photo identification equipment, typewriter, calculator, scanner and computer and associated printer.
- Responds to complaints, reviews data for accuracy and completeness, routing complaints to the appropriate person within the Regulatory Licensing Section for action or if it is determined it is outside the section’s jurisdiction, the complainant is routed to the appropriate bureau, division, or department for action.
- Receives and reviews insurance records, performs continuous maintenance of records, reviews submissions for accuracy and to determine the submission is within the statutory time parameters.
- Develops and prepares notification to Division customers regarding insurance coverage.
- Performs other duties and assignments as delegated by a higher administrative authority.
