Your Specific Responsibilities:

This is a highly responsible professional position in the Community Programs unit of HIV Patient Care Resources of the HIV/AIDS Section. This position is responsible for planning, evaluating and monitoring patient care related activities for patient care services 
funded by the Ryan White CARE Act or Florida state general revenue. This includes acting as the contract manager for monitoring of county health departments that are lead agencies for the Ryan White Part B grant. 


Provides timely technical assistance, programmatic support and oversight to HIV/AIDS program coordinators, contract managers and lead agencies in assigned geographic areas of the state to ensure effective planning for the efficient delivery of necessary 
services to persons living with HIV/AIDS. 


Assists with developing grant applications, administrative guidelines for contract development, programmatic contract reviews, contract monitoring, technical assistance resource materials and the development of program policy. 

 

Develop grant proposals and other documentation required to secure available funds for patient care services.


Lead staff person for developing and maintaining public relations products. 


Provides information and documentation required by grant award conditions.

 
Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Comprehensive knowledge of how the HID/AIDS patient care service delivery system works in the state
• Effective writing, speaking and Microsoft Office Skills

 

Qualifications:

Minimum -– HS Diploma/GED

Preferred – AA, BS, or BA

Desired – Florida Contract Manager or Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM)
