JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Management Analyst I – SES position is a highly responsible position within the Department of Revenue’s Office of Workforce Management (OWM) that involves working with the Department’s programs and business processes to understand their needs and expectations. Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Serving as the lead coordinator for scheduling, tracking, reviewing, analyzing, and developing Department-wide policies and procedures in consultation with policy owners.
  • Serving as the lead for reviewing and conducting analysis on the impact of legislation on the OWM’s business processes and documenting impacts for reporting to Florida Legislature.
  • Conducting training for OWM Subject Matter Experts on legislative analysis.
  • Assisting in the development of standard operating procedures and process maps for Planning and Operations business process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
  • Experience developing policies and procedures.
  • Experience interpreting statutes, rules, policies and procedures.
  • Experience leading project teams or managing projects.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint). 

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience conducting legislative bill analysis.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This is not a telework position.

SALARY: $52,530.24
