JOB SUMMARY:

The Florida Department of Revenue is looking for a creative, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and organized individual to serve as its Employee Programs Coordinator. The Employee Programs Coordinator oversees, leads, and manages the agency’s employee programs, including employee recognition, health and wellness, employee assistance, and other programs. The Employee Programs Coordinator position is a Selected Exempt Service position within the Department’s Office of Workforce Management and is located in Tallahassee, Florida.

 

Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Overseeing the Department’s recognition program activities, processes, and systems, including the Department’s online employee recognition application, ordering, inventory management, and budget.
  • Overseeing the Department’s health and wellness program activities.
  • Overseeing donation drives.
  • Coordinating the Department’s nominations to the state Government Productivity Award program.
  • Coordinating program requests for employee assistance program consultation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Experience managing or overseeing the purchase, inventory, and distribution of goods or services.
  • Experience managing a budget for the purchase of goods or services.   
  • Experience preparing reports, presentations, and other communications.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience overseeing or coordinating employee recognition or other employee programs.
  • Experience with SharePoint or SharePoint Online.
  • Experience purchasing goods or services through the State of Florida’s purchasing system.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This is not a telework position.

SALARY: $54,999.96 / Annually.
