Location:  Office of the General Counsel, Knight Building, 2737 Centerview Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3100.

Starting Salary:   $1,780.37/$46,289.62 (Bi-weekly/Annually)   (In accordance with current spending restrictions, an internal promotion into the position will be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or up to 5% of the employee’s current rate, whichever is higher.)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position is assigned primarily to the General Counsel and the Agency Litigation attorney to provide support in a variety of duties and assignments, including:

Creates, configures, and maintains eDiscovery cases within Microsoft Purview (Standard and Premium).

Designs and runs complex content searches and queries across Microsoft 365 workloads. Performs email searches and redacts emails as needed for litigation, discovery requests. 

Uses Purview’s advanced filtering, conditions, and keyword query language (KQL) to identify relevant content.  Stays current with Microsoft Purview updates, features, and industry standards in eDiscovery and compliance.  Trains internal stakeholders (legal, HR, security, IT) on Microsoft Purview’s eDiscovery tools and best practices.

Creates folders for each case and constantly updates the litigation SharePoint website.

Applies legal holds to content across Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Yammer, etc.). Collaborates with Microsoft 365 administrators to ensure Purview features are enabled and optimized for legal/compliance workflows. Keeps Purview policies, retention labels, and compliance features aligned with organizational/legal requirements.

Maintains and updates the office records management systems; and

Performs other related duties as assigned;

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING/REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Yammer, etc.) and Portable Document Format.

Knowledge of office procedures and practices.

Knowledge of the methods of data collection.

Ability to prepare correspondence and administrative reports.

Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least two (2) years of Education majoring in Information Technology or experience working in a legal office setting.
