Your Specific Responsibilities:
This position is in the Division of Children’s Medical Services, Bureau of Child Protection & Special Technologies and will be supervised by the Public Health Services Manager F-SES. This position provides professional support in the role of program liaison to the local Child Abuse Death Review committees, Child Protection Teams, Sexual Abuse Treatment Programs and to other department programs and external child-welfare stakeholders.
This position supports the 22 Local CADR Committees and the State CADR Committee, which includes traveling to the local committees to assist with case reviews and provide consultation and technical assistance. Technical assistance will include providing guidance on the development of local prevention strategies and action plans for implementation of the identified prevention strategies. CADR support also includes conducting data entry and analysis, coordinating and conducting training for local committees, assembling documents and reports for State CADR Committee meetings, draft and revise meeting agendas, minutes, and contributing in the preparation of the CADR annual statistical report.
This position will research on current and emerging prevention strategies related to child abuse and neglect. This includes but is not limited to: identifying evidence-based initiatives with potential for expansion, gathering and synthesizing relevant data to support prevention activities, and contributing to the development of recommendations that inform committee discussions and priorities.
This position will be responsible for assisting in planning and participating in interagency task forces, meetings and training activities.
This position will serve as the Division of Children’s Medical Services liaison and point of contact for Human Trafficking within the Department of Health.
This position will perform other duties as assigned.
This position requires daily in-office or field work.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Driver's License
- Experience in public health, child welfare, injury prevention, social services, or related research/analysis work.
- Experience supporting or conducting research, data analysis, or using data to inform prevention efforts.
- Experience coordinating programs, initiatives, or stakeholder engagement activities.
- Experience preparing reports, summaries, or presentations based on findings.
Preferred:
- Preference will be given to applicants with a Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, human services, or related field.
