Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States. 

 

Pay: $33,742 - $35,689 Annually 

 

Position Summary: Provides administrative and clerical support for Crime Stopper and General Revenue Grants (grants), Crime Prevention Summit (Summit), and Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) staff. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Three years of secretarial or clerical work experience; or

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent and 1 year of secretarial/administrative experience.

  • College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required work experience; or

  • Vocational/technical training in an area of secretarial science or office/business studies can substitute at the rate of 720 classroom hours for each year of the required work experience.

     

The Work You Will Do: The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Correspondence and reports, registrations, tuition payments, invoices for payment, refunds, travel requests/reimbursements, grant applications/reimbursements, ACP applications and assistance with incoming mail. 
  • Performs data entry and maintains grant files and ACP database; generates documentation and reports for grants and ACP.

  • Maintains administrative records and files, including updated mailing lists.

  • Receives and routes telephone calls.

  • Responds to requests for general information about grants and Summit.

  • Performs related duties, as necessary.

 

NOTE: These duties may involve extended work hours and/or travel outside the work site.
