Information Technology Specialist I – Leon County

The Work You Will Do:
The Leon County Office is seeking an Information Technology team member to support the technical operations of the State Attorney’s Office. This highly technical position is responsible for supporting and maintaining a wide variety of in-house IT equipment and assets across the office's networked systems. The role involves working with a range of software applications, including Microsoft Office 365 Suite, CJI (Criminal Justice Information) proprietary software, and the office’s Case Management System (STAC), among others.

The position also requires strict adherence to state and federal regulations governing the storage and sharing of Criminal Justice Information (CJI), ensuring the highest standards of security and confidentiality.
Pay Range:
$32,136 -$35,000
Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalency
Knowledge or experience preferred but not required

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
An employee in this position is responsible for performing a variety of specialized work within the IT unit. Duties include the following:
- Offer technical support by responding to questions and concerns with software, hardware, and other technology issues.
- Assist in preparing technology related items for attorneys in court/cooperating with Court Administration to assure courtroom technology is in working order
- Set up and configure computers and other related technology items.
- Observe daily activities to learn overall IT infrastructure, methods and procedures.

- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the internal and external components of a computer.
- Dependable and routine in-office attendance during regularly scheduled business hours.
