WORKING TITLE: Statewide FTO Coordinator
This internal advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in Staff Development.

This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
JOB DUTIES:
- Champion the statewide Field Training Officer (FTO) Program by overseeing standards and ensuring top-notch audit compliance.
- Drive the growth of new FTOs by processing applications from institutions and nurturing their development.
- Innovate and execute comprehensive FTO training programs across the state, while expertly managing a tracking system for FTO and FTC members.
- Serve as the vital link between regional offices and institutional administrators, ensuring FTO audit standards are met, collecting data to assess training effectiveness, and crafting insightful information to enhance ongoing training plans.
- Spearhead the development and coordination of policies, procedures, and standards for the FTO program, deliver impactful reports on program effectiveness, oversee corrective action plans, and fulfill essential training and staff requirements with precision.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- One (1) year of experience as a CJSTC certified instructor.
- Three (3) or more years of Correctional Office experience.
Support of knowledge, skills, and abilities should be demonstrated on the application, in the education, in the work experience, in the work sample, in the interview and/or during reference checks.
