The Work You Will Do:
Strategic Delivery Services Supervisor / Office of Information Technology / Strategic Services
The Strategic Delivery Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising, planning, directing, and coordinating the work of the Office of Information Technology Strategic Delivery Services Team. This role involves leading the strategic planning and roadmap development for the Service Delivery Core Platform, ensuring alignment with department goals and IT strategic initiatives. The supervisor collaborates with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and service improvement, oversees the design, development, and implementation of platform modules and applications, and ensures proper integration with other enterprise systems. Additionally, the role includes maintaining a secure environment, developing and maintaining metrics and reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of technical documentation.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Supervises, plans, directs, and coordinates the work of the assigned Office of Information Technology Strategic Delivery Services Team, who perform tasks related to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Department's Service Delivery Core Platform. Spends the majority of their time supervising, communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees, and planning and directing employees’ work, and has the authority to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline subordinate employees or effectively recommend such action.
Leads the strategic planning and roadmap development for the Service Delivery Core Platform, ensuring alignment with Department goals and IT strategic initiatives. Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for process automation and service improvement through the Service Delivery Core Platform. Establishes and maintains governance, including change management processes, development standards, and quality assurance procedures.
Oversees the design, development, and implementation of the Service Delivery Core Platform modules and applications Ensures proper integration with other enterprise systems. Develops and maintains metrics and reporting to track performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement. Maintains a secure environment in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, and practices. Monitors the platform for security threats or unauthorized access. Ensures appropriate role-based access controls are implemented and maintained. Develops and enforces security standards specific to the Service Delivery Core Platform.
Ensures accuracy of staff-generated and maintained technical documentation for the Service Delivery Core Platform, including platform configuration, customizations, integrations, workflows, and business rules. Oversees the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles for end-users and administrators. Coordinates and participates in Research and Development related to the Service Delivery Core Platforms capabilities and best practices. Evaluates new modules and features for potential implementation. Research and test new or modified components to determine performance and interoperability. Attends training sessions and studies technical documentation to stay current with technological advancements.
The Successful Candidate will have the following required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Information Technology procedures, concepts and techniques; ability to lead, manage, supervise, motivate and work with diverse groups of people; ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, assign and oversee work assignments for project team members; knowledge of general personnel and hiring procedures; ability to lead and manage software solution development or maintenance release projects; ability to develop project schedules and accurate time estimates for timely completion of project deliverables; ability to relate to customers’ needs and perform duties in a service oriented manner; ability to work effectively with users to identify and document requirements for the maintenance or development of computer systems; ability to interpret and communicate technical information, both verbally and in writing; ability to develop and manage information systems documentation in accordance with the department's application development standards; ability to give and receive constructive criticism. Knowledge of State of Florida procurement methods, rules, and practices.
