This position is responsible for preparing and conducting training on LAS/PBS, the Budget Amendment Processing System, custom PC, and web-based applications. Applicants must also show an interest in the state budget and be able to clearly explain the various budget applications to both new and experienced users. The successful candidate will have good public speaking skills and basic computer proficiency. Knowledge of LASPBS and other applications are desired but not necessary.
The successful applicant will be expected to write manuals in a clear and concise manner. Applicants should have a general knowledge of PC software, including Windows, Microsoft Edge, and current versions of Microsoft Office products. While knowledge of Microsoft Office Products is expected, a working knowledge of Microsoft Word features such as table of contents, sections, and tables that are helpful in writing manuals is essential.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in training, teaching, or public speaking in general. A working knowledge of the LAS/PBS and other applications used by Budget staff statewide is preferred.
