We are looking for a Systems Project Consultant who can help deliver complex low-code, no-code, and SaaS platform solutions that improve how DCF serves staff, stakeholders, and the people we serve. The ideal candidate can translate business needs into clear requirements, configure and enhance platform solutions, coordinate across technical and business teams, and support quality delivery from discovery through production support.

This full-time position is located on-site at the DCF Headquarters in Tallahassee in the Office of Information Technology Services

 

What You'll Do:

  • Produce and coordinate business cases, high-level requirements, and detailed functional and non-functional requirements for complex low-code, no-code, and SaaS platform solutions.
  • Configure and enhance platform solutions using available tools and utilities, including workflow automation, integrations, reporting, dashboards, and lightweight applications.
  • Define processes and coordinate the technical activities of cross-functional delivery teams made up of peers, customers, business liaisons, platform administrators, and IT staff.
  • Develop data migration plans, specifications, and procedures that support successful delivery, deployment, and long-term maintainability of solutions.
  • Prepare, coordinate, or assist with system test plans, user acceptance test plans, environment readiness, defect tracking, user documentation, and training materials.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Low-Code/SaaS Platform Expertise: You understand how modern platform solutions are configured, enhanced, governed, and supported. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Dynamics 365, or comparable SaaS platforms is highly valuable. Special preference will be given to the applicant with demonstrated experience supporting the ServiceNow platform.
  • Requirements and Process Analysis: You can facilitate requirements discussions, document business needs, analyze workflows, and translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Workflow, Integration, and Data Mindset: You are comfortable with workflow automation, data migration planning, API-based connectivity, data exchange concepts, reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics.
  • Testing and Quality Discipline: You can help prepare system and user acceptance test plans, coordinate testing activities, document defects, track issues through resolution, and support quality outcomes.
  • Effective Communication: You can communicate clearly with business users, technical teams, management, platform administrators, and executive-level contacts, both orally and in writing.
  • Collaborative Project Delivery: You work well in cross-functional teams, manage multiple high-priority assignments, and help move work from project initiation through implementation and support.
  • Adaptable and Growth-Oriented: You are willing to learn emerging low-code, no-code, and SaaS technologies and can adapt as platforms, priorities, and release updates change.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS Degree from an accredited college or university is desired.
  • 2-5 years of experience in low-code/no-code application configuration, SaaS platform administration, workflow automation, systems analysis, data analysis/reporting, software development, or similar platform delivery work is desired.
  • Experience performing configuration on the ServiceNow platform is preferred.
  • Advanced education, training, or certifications in software development, low-code/no-code platform development, SaaS administration, project management, testing/quality assurance, data analysis/reporting, or related information technology fields are preferred.
