JOB SUMMARY:
The Information Services Program is seeking a qualified professional to serve as the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Service Owner. This System Project Consultant position provides accountable leadership for the IAM service and helps ensure secure, reliable, measurable delivery across identity lifecycle, authentication, authorization, access governance, and privileged-access capabilities.
The selected candidate will own service-management outcomes; develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs); report service performance, risk, audit readiness, and remediation status to leadership; lead IAM audit responses; develop policies, procedures, and service documentation; establish and improve IT service-management goals; and work with technical and business teams to plan, design, transition, operate, and continually improve IAM services and service requests.
The role requires demonstrated experience applying ITIL-aligned practices to IAM service design, transition, operation, and continual improvement; aligning controls with ISO/IEC 20000 and NIST SP 800-53; and communicating complex audit, compliance, and service impacts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Two years of experience with preparation in enterprise identity and access management (IAM) service ownership or governance, IT service management, IAM audit and compliance, or closely related technical support. *
- Experience serving as a service owner, technical lead, process lead, or accountable coordinator for an enterprise IAM service or major IAM lifecycle function, including defining or tracking KPIs and reporting service performance, risk, audit readiness, or remediation status.
- Experience participating in at least one IAM-related audit or compliance-review cycle aligned with ISO/IEC 20000, NIST SP 800-53, IRS Publication 1075, or a comparable framework, including preparing evidence, responding to findings, developing corrective actions, or tracking remediation.
- Experience planning, designing, implementing, or materially improving IAM service requests or workflows in an ITSM platform using ITIL-aligned service design, transition, operation, change or problem management, or continual-improvement practices.
- Applicants must document experience performing all three activities listed above. These activities may have been performed concurrently during the same period.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
- * Relevant education may substitute for the experience required in the first minimum qualification on a year-for-year basis. A documented combination of relevant education, training, certification, military experience, project work, and/or related work experience may satisfy that two-year requirement. Qualifying preparation must be directly related to enterprise IAM service ownership or governance, IT service management, IAM audit and compliance, or closely related technical support. These substitutions apply only to the first minimum qualification and do not replace any of the three additional experience requirements.
PREFERENCES:
Preference may be given to applicants who demonstrate job-related knowledge, skills, or abilities in one or more of the following areas:
- CyberArk Privilege Cloud or another enterprise privileged-access management platform.
- Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, multifactor authentication, single sign-on, identity governance, or automated provisioning and deprovisioning.
- IAM policy, procedure, service-catalog, workflow, runbook, SLA, OLA, or service-continuity documentation.
- ISO/IEC 20000 audits, NIST SP 800-53 controls, IRS Publication 1075, or related remediation activities.
- Role-based access control, least privilege, separation of duties, access reviews, or privileged-account governance.
- Root-cause analysis, corrective-action planning, change management, problem management, or continual service improvement.
