JOB SUMMARY: This position is accountable for managing the lifecycle of the Communications and Collaboration Service, ensuring its alignment with customer needs and organizational objectives. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end service delivery and ensuring that operational performance meets defined service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). The Service Owner serves as the primary point of contact during major incidents, coordinating communications to stakeholders with clarity, consistency, and appropriateness. The position requires proactive monitoring, reporting, and improvement of operational metrics while developing and enforcing robust operational procedures to optimize service delivery. This role emphasizes collaboration with leadership to understand customer needs, address challenges, and communicate the impact of changes or improvements to related IT services. Additionally, the Service Owner represents the service in various forums, such as meetings, assessments, audits, and strategic discussions, advocating for service performance and evolution.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • IT Service Management experience
  • IT Service Management Tools experience
  • Experience managing and monitoring of performance metrics
  • IT Infrastructure experience
  • 3 years' customer service experience

PREFERENCES:

  • ITIL certification or other relevant certifications in IT service management.
  • Experience in policy and procedure interpretation and or creation.
  • Relevant technical certifications for collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Cisco collaboration tools)

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This job is located at 2450 Shumard Oak Blvd. (CCOC-2) and is not eligible for telework.
  • Tentative salary $59,501.61

SALARY: $56,526.24 - $62,476.68
