JOB SUMMARY:

This position performs as a team lead and business analyst and is an excellent fit for self-motivated critical thinkers. If you enjoy working on teams with computer systems and problem solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:

 

  • Coordinating major system projects including but not limited to team formation, impact analysis and the identification of mandated federal or state system changes.
  • Preparing and submitting documentation for management.
  • Creating resource plans to meet strategic and operational goals and customer needs.
  • Creating and communicating operational work plans to meet strategic and operational plans.
  • Identifying the customer’s needs, knowing how services and/or products are viewed by the customer and providing timely and respectful service.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently a Department of Revenue Employee
  • 3 years of experience functioning as a business analyst following a software development lifecycle
  • 3 years of experience developing business process flows or computer system flows.
  • 2 years of experience performing gap analysis preparing option papers and presenting to management and/or stakeholders
  • 1 year of experience coaching/mentoring or training others in business procedures

PREFERANCES: 

  • 3 years of Child Support Operational Experience
  • 2 years acting as coordinator of systems projects, system priorities and allocation of project team resources
  • 2 years of software testing experience

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position is currently not telework eligible.
  • The applicant selection criteria (ASC) screening tool has been administratively approved. Those applicants who have met the minimum qualifications and with the greatest points accumulated via the ASC scoring, will be selected for interview.

SALARY: $49,584.72 - $76,393.68.
