ADVERTISING TITLE: SYSTEM PROJECT CONSULTANT
This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office, in the Office of Information Technology.
The purpose of this position is to act as a SimpliGov Professional in the Office of Information Technology, leading the agency's digital transformation by designing, managing, and optimizing secure, automated workflows and compliant digital forms.
This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist in transitioning from manual, paper-based processes to streamlined digital solutions utilizing the SimpliGov platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain digital forms and workflows on the SimpliGov platform in accordance with established business
- processes and procedures.
- Develop automated workflows that effectively route documents and notifications to appropriate personnel across the agency.
- Review and validate forms to ensure compliance with state and agency regulations, statutes, policies, and procedures.
- Extract data, monitor the progress of active workflows, and produce reports using the platform’s tools.
- Provide technical assistance to users regarding forms and workflows within the SimpliGov platform.
- Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with agency objectives.
- Act as the SimpliGov Administrator for designated agency platforms, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
The Florida Department of Corrections requires all job applicants and volunteers to pass a Level 2 background check as per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes. This check must be completed before they can start working or volunteering.
