We are seeking a System Project Consultant, JR Systems Developer in MQA’s Bureau of Operations, System Support Services Unit. The ideal candidate will become a key player on our team that makes a real difference in the division. You will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance, improving communications between the users and support staff, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the business operations.

Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position requires strong business knowledge, analytical, and technical skills. The incumbent in this position will:

 

Serve as the Jr. Systems Developer responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Versa:Regulation and Versa:Mobile environments and future Appian system.  

 

The Junior Developer will play a key role in the department’s major system modernization project, assisting with data mapping, system testing, and the transition of legacy workflows to modern Appian platform.

 

The incumbent in this position will assist the Technical Lead and SMEs in modernization efforts. Including but not limited to documenting current-state workflows, participating in requirement gathering for the new system, and supporting data migration activities including user story refinement, data mapping, system testing, and the transition of legacy workflows to future Appian platform.

 

Responsible for receiving configuration request tickets and performing end-to-end configuration using Versa administration modules (Licensing, Application, Cash, Enforcement, etc.), the future Appian system, and SQL. Designs configuration changes and advises on the effects they may have on processing or other workflows. Determines necessary steps to configure system. Performs configuration changes based on departmental standards. Tests configuration changes.

 

Responsible for building and maintaining correspondence utilizing Microsoft Word and administrative letter module of Versa:Regulation and future Appian system.

 

Perform other work-related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Employees in this position are expected to work in a professional office environment characterized by standard lighting, temperature, and moderate noise levels. The role requires the ability to manage periodic interruptions, perform duties within a confined workspace, and remain seated at a computer workstation for extended periods. 
  • Must be willing to physically come into the office to perform job duties.
