Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

This position serves as the OIR Website Coordinator. 

  • Designs, implements, and maintains integration with Content Management solutions used by the Department.
  • Designs and maintains Content Management solutions used by the Department
  • Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain computer systems software.
  • Consult with the business units in estimating and prioritizing web changes.
  • Utilizes HTML and CSS to design and maintain standards conforming templates for external website computer systems.
  • Provides support for agency and development graphics and design.
  • Provides publishing support for internal and external website computer systems.
  • Gathers metrics from business units for external websites.
  • Monitors navigation and functionality of external websites.

Other duties as required by the position.

Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of web development languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and Active Server Pages.
  • Knowledge of web development best practices.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Knowledge of recognized industry-wide web development software/programs.
  • Ability to work with common graphics software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Qualified applicants will be required to take a work sample.
The annual salary for this position is $65,000.04.
Employees of the Office of Insurance Regulation are paid on a monthly pay cycle. 

This is a non-remote on-site position located in Tallahassee, FL.
