SPECIAL NOTES:
Four (4) years of experience in information technology, Computer Science, or related field is required. A post-secondary degree in those fields may be used as an alternative for the years of experience on a year-for-year basis.
Additional requirements:
- Three (3) years of demonstrated hands-on experience administering:
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
- Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
- Microsoft Intune
- Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems.
- Three (3) years of experience with enterprise patch management and software deployment in a large or distributed environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot endpoint update, policy, and deployment issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the English Language.
Preferences:
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Entra ID.
- Knowledge of endpoint security, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS benchmarks).
- Experience supporting remote or mobile workforces.

This position is not a Telework position and is required to report to the office located in Tallahassee, Florida.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) for software deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, and endpoint compliance reporting.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Microsoft updates to servers and workstations.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for cloud-based device management, policy enforcement, application deployment, and Windows Update for Business.
- Develop, test, schedule, and deploy patches and updates for Windows operating systems and third-party applications.
- Monitor patch compliance, troubleshoot failed deployments, and remediate endpoint update issues.
- Coordinate patching activities with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to minimize operational impact.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and patch management workflows.
- Support audits, security assessments, and compliance reporting related to endpoint configuration and patching.
- Participate in endpoint security initiatives, including baseline configuration, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
