JOB SUMMARY:
The Information Services Program is seeking a Systems Project Analyst with strong technical, analytical, and collaborative capabilities to serve as a team lead for Change, Configuration, and Release Management processes. This role is responsible for ensuring process integrity, operational consistency, and alignment with enterprise service management standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee Configuration, Change, and Release Management processes across the service lifecycle
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of Configuration Items (CIs) and their relationships within the CMDB
- Establish and enforce standards for identifying, controlling, and verifying service assets and components
- Manage the full lifecycle of Change Management, ensuring all changes are properly recorded, assessed, approved, implemented, and reviewed
- Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities, including scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
- Evaluate risk and impact of proposed changes to minimize disruption to IT services Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between service components and supported business services
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve process documentation, procedures, and reporting metrics
- Support release planning and coordination to ensure successful deployment of changes into production environments
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
- Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
- Experience facilitating meetings and coordinating change activities
- Experience with written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with interpreting and coordinating IT policies
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow or similar platforms)
PREFERENCES:
- Experience in O365 environment
- Experience with ticketing and information tracking systems
- Experience developing and documenting requirements for IT projects and/or systems development
- Experience with writing, reading, and interpreting technical specifications
SPECIAL NOTES:
- Position located in Tallahassee, Florida.
- This position is not eligible for telework.
SALARY: $54,341.52 - $60,061.68 / annually.
