The Work You Will Do:

The incumbent in this position performs configuration duties on the Versa: Regulation (VR) System, requiring strong business knowledge and technical skills. Responsible for set-up and configuration of Versa: Regulation (VR) System which includes set up and maintenance of client, application, license, cash, exam, enforcement and letter modules.
 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

  • Receives configuration request tickets and completes them using Versa: Regulation (VR) administration module and SQL.  Designs configuration changes and advises on the effects they may have on processing or other workflows. Advises manager on total system impact a requested change might have including impacts to portal and call center functionality. Determines necessary steps to configure system. Performs configuration changes based on departmental standards. Tests configuration changes. Updates documentation based on configuration change and communicates to appropriate stakeholders. Updates ticket documentation for each configuration change request. Updates training documentation after each request. 
  • Builds and maintains correspondence utilizing Microsoft Word and administrative letter module of Versa: Regulation (VR). 
  • Performs peer review on internal team members’ configuration changes and SQL statements following quality assurance procedures. 
  • Provides assistance to Versa: Regulation (VR) system users in the testing of Versa: Regulation (VR) configuration changes.
  • Builds and maintains reports using Department-wide reporting software. 
  • Researches Versa: Regulation (VR) system issues including ticket monitoring and determining appropriate configuration changes to resolve issues. 
  • Provides status on all assigned work through updates in the ticket work log. 
  • Responds to requests for data extracts and public records requests by creation and execution of data queries using SQL on the Single Licensing System (SLS) database. 
  • Performs other work-related duties as required.
     

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of licensing systems.
  • Knowledge of document management systems.
  • Experience with the Ticket management system.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL/PL-SQL Programming.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues, risks and approaches to non-technical managers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and recommend or implement design changes.
     

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with Oracle SQL/PL-SQL programming or another programming language; and
  • Experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook programs; and
  • Experience with Single Licensing System (SLS) Versa: Regulation (VR); and
  • Experience developing reports via development software tool.

 

*Preference will be given to candidates with development experience in QLIK Sense Reporting and experience with Versa: Online (VO) Applications.*
