MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or its equivalent and three (3) years of experience in telecommunications, data processing (excluding data entry), electronics or engineering, one (1) year of which must have been in telecommunications; or
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in one of the computer sciences, management information systems or electronic engineering.
College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required non-telecommunications experience provided such education includes two courses in one of the areas described above.
Vocational/technical training in one of the areas described above can substitute at the rate of 720 classroom hours for the year of required non-telecommunications experience.
Completion of a vendor supplied program of study of four or more weeks in telecommunications can substitute for one year of the required experience.
Requires possession of a valid Class E driver license.

JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for remote and on-site customer support functions, including but not limited to: Fielding incoming calls and/or emails from end users, troubleshoot Tier 1 and 2 service requests regarding troubleshooting software and hardware, apply diagnostic utilities and skillsets, and collect information from customers to assist in resolving problems.
Responsible for recording, tracking, and documenting issues within the FDACS ticket tracking system for each problem or issue reported by FDACS staff or external users supported by the department, including but not limited to customer name, division, contact information, and the nature of the problem or issue, steps used to troubleshoot the issue must also be documented, including problem-solving process, successful or unsuccessful steps, and action taken.
Supports the Tax Collector’s offices and Regional Offices utilizing the department’s Division of Licensing applications, hardware, and/or software. Support includes, but is not limited to, installing and troubleshooting hardware at Tax Collector facilities and troubleshooting applications.
Maintain awareness of the FDACS environment to be able to identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the agency.
Perform related work as required, which will include, but not be limited to, adherence to the policies and procedures of the Department’s Information Resource Security Program (Chapter 8 – Department’s Supervisory Manual) and allocate time as requested for Disaster Recovery activities.

- Knowledge of distributed computer processing operations, procedures, and equipment.

- Knowledge of computer imaging via Microsoft Windows Autopilot and the Microsoft Intune platform.

- Ability to work, collaborate, and communicate effectively with others.
