Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst Trainer provides daily side by side coaching and development to the CSC Senior Consumer Service Analysts to ensure that they can independently take calls from the public.  In this position you will assist analysts in investigating, analyzing, and resolving complaints and inquiries relating to all aspects of Florida Driver License and Motor Vehicle laws, HSMV policies and procedures or programs administered by the Department. As a Senior Analyst Trainer, you will be working in a team environment to ensure the success of all CSC Senior Consumer Service Analysts.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Skill in understanding and interpreting Florida Statutes, policies and procedures pertaining to driver license and motor vehicle transactions.
  • Skill in providing customer service in a telephone call center environment.
  • Knowledge of customer service center policies and procedures.
  • Skill in researching, analyzing, and resolving customer inquiries relating to Driver license or Motor Vehicles.
  • Skill in the use of Florida Real-Time Vehicle Information (FRVIS), Florida Driver License Issuance System (FDLIS), DAVID, Expert Knowledge Database System and Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to coach and motivate others.
  • Ability to be tactful in difficult and stressful situations.

 

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:

  • Answering inquiries related to driver license issuance, renewals, or replacements.
  • Answering inquiries related to motor vehicle/vessel tags or titles.
  • Answering inquiries related to driver license sanctions.
  • Answering inquiries related to motor vehicle insurance/financial responsibility.
  • Working in a call center environment.
  • Working with the Expert Computer System.
  • Related to coaching, training, and/or leading others.

 

Job Related Requirements

  • Hours may be adjusted to cover operational hours of the work unit not to exsceed an 8 hour day unless overtime is authorized.

 

General Information

  • The elements of the selection process may include a skill assessment and/or oral interview.
  • Applicants being considered for employment will be required to submit to a fingerprint-based background investigation, which will include a check of the criminal history records of the FBI. Fingerprints and associated information/biometrics will be retained in the FBI’s Next Generation Identification (NGI) system and fingerprints may continue to be compared against fingerprints submitted to or retained by NGI.
