JOB SUMMARY: This is a Revenue Administrator III SES - Child Support Case Processing Manager in the Department of Revenue’s Child Support Program in the Tampa Service Center. This position directly manages a team of 4 supervisory team members. The incumbent will work with the Service Center Manager to develop, implement and monitor operational plans. Communicate the strategic planning process to team members so that all levels understand the benefits derived from focused strategic initiatives to achieve the top performance for the customers served. Provide the Service Center Manager with recommendations for aligning resources. Determine resource needs and shift available resources to ensure the highest level of productivity. Analyze existing and new business requirements to determine gaps and provide solutions. Provide leadership and direction to service site team members, lead team-based processes in a large site. Function as administrator, coach and advisor to team members. Provide on-the-job training to team members. Provide input for the Other Personnel Services budget. Meet with other managers and the management team to discuss program goals and strategies.

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
  • 2 years of Child Support Program experience
  • 2 years of supervisory experience to include motivating, mentoring, developing and directing team members
  • 2 years of managing operations, to include planning, organizing, reviewing performance data, coordinating staff work, and setting unit performance goals
  • 2 years of experience performing personnel management functions such as recruitment, performance reviews, professional development and corrective actions
  • 2 years of experience building positive relationships with staff, external partners and customers
  • 2 years of experience communicating through a variety of methods (leading meetings, public speaking, presentations) to a diverse internal and external audience
