Job Description
SUMMARY: Provide research‑based insights and operational support to advance court projects, enhance staff development, and improve organizational effectiveness. This includes planning, implementing, and managing trainings and other professional development opportunities for court personnel, providing support to Resource Development Department Director with event coordination and recognition, helping implement policies and procedures, performing research, analyzing data, and serving as liaison and resource with other departments.
Essential Duties:
- Develop, deliver, and coordinate training programs including new employee onboarding, role-specific training, system training, process changes, and ongoing professional development. This role partners across all levels to identify training needs, develop effective learning solutions and ensure training remains current as organization needs evolve.
- Gather and analyze data to inform operations decisions and evaluate work efficiencies, including metrics related to meeting outcome measures. Periodically evaluate performance metrics and outcome measures to ensure data relevance.
- Research and write operations reports, conduct research, and establish training objectives via collaboration with management team.
- Collect, maintain, and coordinate storage of administrative records according to records retention policies.
- Manage and coordinate outreach events, milestone recognitions, and special projects.
- Maintain and organize employee training records and training resources.
- Contribute to Administrative Office of the Court (AOC) newsletter and other publications.
Education and Training Guidelines
Minimum Qualifications:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in criminology, social sciences, education, public administration or organizational development.
- EXPERIENCE: Five years of related experience, including two years in a supervisory capacity or managerial capacity.
SUBSTITUTIONS: Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis. A Master’s degree in an area cited above may substitute for two years of the recommended non-management experience.

- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Power Point;
- Knowledge of project management techniques;
- Knowledge of the structure and operations of the Florida Court System;
- Ability to work collaboratively within department, as well as other AOC departments and stakeholders;
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;
- Ability to research and make recommendations on best practices for assigned projects;
- Ability to conduct research and analysis and draft memoranda and reports;
- Ability to organize complex data and information;
- Ability to develop contracts;
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly, concisely and logically, both orally and in writing with a diverse group of people both in-person and remote environments;
- Ability to develop in-person and e-learning training objectives and presentations targeted towards adult learners;
- Ability to interpret, explain and apply rules, policies and procedures;
- Ability to exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to research and apply for Continuing Education Accreditation.
- Incumbent must be professional in all regards.

This is a state-funded position.
