This advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Circuit 13-0 in the Administrative and Office Support department.
Salary: $36,230.74 Annual Rate
SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interprets, codes, and enters documents relating to offender sentencing and monetary obligations into the CDC database. This includes the entry of sentencing guideline score sheets, as needed.
- Requests criminal record information through NCIC/FCIC, the Department and local criminal justice databases. Screens new intakes for Florida Department of Law Enforcement registration. Interprets information in the preparation of the prior record.
- Develops, coordinates, and monitors offender community service work activities. Assists in monitoring offender job needs and work/program assignments.
- Completes quality assurance audits to ensure accurate, complete and timely entry of data into the management information system. Generates reports for management.
- At the direction of the Circuit Administrator and/or Deputy Administrator, this position provides administrative assistance to a Correctional Probation Circuit Administrator and Deputy Administrator by researching and gathering data, preparing written reports and statistical reports, and providing guidance and assistance to staff and the public in a tactful and courteous manner.
- Coordinates collection of budget information and monitors expenditures of field offices in major budget areas, including but not limited to, travel expenses, supplies, equipment, and postage. Orders office supplies for the Circuit Office.
- Responsible for typing and arranging correspondence (to include any information of a confidential nature), ensuring correspondence is properly mailed and/or distributed and providing technical assistance to the Circuit Administrator.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
