Director of Information Technology ($90,000 - $130,000)
The Office of the Public Defender, serving the 13th Judicial Circuit in Tampa, Florida, is seeking an experienced (minimum 7 years) and forward-thinking Director to lead its Information Technology (IT) Department. The Director of IT will oversee all aspects of technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital strategy, and innovation for an office of approximately 200 employees. This position plays a critical leadership role in aligning IT operations with the Office’s mission to provide high-quality legal representation to indigent clients.
- Lead the strategic planning, development, and implementation of all IT initiatives to support the legal and administrative operations of the Office.
- Manage a team of 6 IT professionals; provide mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities.
- Oversee technology procurement, vendor management, contract management, and IT budgeting in coordination with the Administrative Director.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations governing technology in the legal field.
- Must have excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills
