POSITION DESCRIPTION: Monitors the Central Printing/Reprographics work order site for print requests and handles walk up print requests from customers. Operates a variety of reprographic equipment such as copiers, printers, plastic binding equipment, paper cutters, collators, laminators, scanners, etc. Handles supplies including cartons and rolls of paper with an approximate weight of up to 50 pounds.
Orders office supplies for the District Seven Centralized Supplies Center and copy paper and supplies for the District Seven Print Center. Procures services, supplies, equipment, and furniture for the District Seven Headquarters and Fixed Capital Outlay projects as needed. Processes purchasing card and electronic procurement transactions.
Provides back up coverage to the District Seven Front Desk Receptionist. Provides mailroom coverage for breaks, lunch, and absences. Serves as backup for producing employee ID badges/access cards.
Serves as the District Seven Surplus Property custodian. Accurately processes, tracks, stores, and disposes of surplus property for the district according to established procedures. Provides training, guidance, and information to unit surplus property contacts. Serves as the District Seven Records Management Coordinator. Follows established records management procedures, rules, instructions, and processes. Maintains an electronic file for the disposition of records and a log of all records that are destroyed. Receives, reviews, and processes Records Disposition Requests and maintains Records Disposition Requests files for audit.
Creates, organizes, and maintains electronic and paper files. Updates and maintains the Facilities Management SharePoint site. Reserves and coordinates meeting spaces for use by other FDOT districts, State of Florida entities, and other approved entities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Skilled in the use of electronic mail and Microsoft Word. Ability use Microsoft Excel. Skilled in preparing correspondence. Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer database. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to perform basic arithmetical calculations. Skilled in the use of general office equipment. Ability to operate large format copy and printing equipment and software. Ability to operate binding equipment. Ability to use multi-functional copiers. Ability to safely lift or move up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor which includes bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Ability to effectively deliver customer service in a courteous, professional, and tactful manner. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments. Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness.
