Position Overview and Responsibilities:

Business Program Support

  • Provides primary reception area coverage by answering, screening and routing incoming telephone calls.
  • Assists with district’s fleet vehicles by scheduling and delivering vehicles for routine service and cleaning.  Conducts monthly vehicle safety inspections.
  • Assists with special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

 

Regulatory Support

  • Assists with preparation and completion of incoming permitting-related documents for database entry and Oculus insertion.
  • Assists with processing outgoing compliance or permitting-related documents.  Handles database entry and Oculus insertion where required.
  • Assists in the document insertion of compliance or permitting-related correspondence documents into Oculus.
  • Assists in preparing hard-copy documents for outgoing mailing.

 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the technique for handling telephone calls in a courteous and tactful manner.
  • Skilled in the use of a computer.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to organize, plan and coordinate work assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to interact with customers in a tactful and courteous manner.
  • Ability to organize files and other records.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Ability to type letters, permits, memoranda and other standard business forms in correct format.
  • Ability to use correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Ability to proofread completed documents and make necessary corrections.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetical calculations.
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Maintain a Valid Class E Driver’s License

 

 

Pay:

$18.00/hour at a maximum of 28 hours a week
