This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Region IV Directors Office.
The mission of a Government Operation Consultant is to provide exceptional administrative support to the Region Community Corrections Office by ensuring efficient communication, meticulous inventory management, and seamless coordination of meetings and travel. We are dedicated to maintaining a well-organized office environment and upholding the highest standards of service to support the Regional Director and staff in their efforts to enhance community corrections.
This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
JOB DUTIES:
- Administrative Support: Helps the Regional Director with tasks such as preparing letters, updating databases, and communicating with staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Communication and Correspondence: Manages phone calls, mail, and emails, providing information and drafting correspondence for the Regional Director.
- Inventory Management: Assists with tracking and distributing inventory items like uniforms and safety equipment.
- Meeting and Travel Arrangements: Prepares materials for meetings, makes travel arrangements, and keeps the Regional Director informed of their schedule.
- Office Maintenance and Supplies: Coordinates office equipment maintenance, handles purchase orders, and maintains office supply inventory.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to travel over night as necessary to conduct different task through the Region.
- Must have the ability of accurate data entry, organizational, computer software skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure.
- Must have experience with the use of Microsoft Suites (Excel, Word, Power Point and etc.)
